About your host
Hi, I'm Nicky Ross
An equine behaviourist specialising in horse-human relationships. From an early age, I've been captivated by horses—curious about how they think, what they communicate, and how we can truly connect with their world. I've dedicated my life to this pursuit of understanding, studying equine behavioural science, observing free-living equids, working with rescued and neglected horses, and exploring the rich communications and motivations within my own herd. It's been an extraordinary journey into the equine mind, and one that continues to unfold.
My mission is to bridge the gap between cutting-edge behavioural research and practical application. I'm passionate about sharing the latest, evidence-based insights with owners, carers, and professionals in an accessible and engaging way—empowering everyone to make informed decisions that enhance the lives of both horses and the people who care for them.
